Local Lifestyle 

Boca Raton was designed in a Mediterranean Revival style that later developed into the unique city it is today. Because of its history, Boca Raton has a dynamic art and culture scene that can't be found anywhere else.

Although it's rich in history, Boca Raton has grown to be a bustling suburban city with an impressive shopping and dining scene. Dining, Entertainment & Shopping 

Mizner Park is the premier shopping destination in Boca Raton, where you can find a variety of upscale shops, restaurants, and cocktail lounges. The Mizner Park Amphitheater is an open area onsite that hosts concerts and events throughout the year.

Due to its rich history, Boca Raton has a number of public art displays throughout town. At Mizner Park, you can view Prismatica, and Rocket can be seen at the Boca Raton Innovative Campus. The City is peppered with beautiful displays of public art that tell of its unique history and shows how much Boca Raton supports local artists. In fact, the Boca Raton Public Library offers public spaces for local artists to showcase their work.

Things to Do

Boca Raton celebrates "Summer in the City" by hosting free music Fridays at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Gather your friends and family and enjoy a concert under the stars or participate in one of the wellness events that are held each Saturday morning at various parks throughout town. They include Zumba, judo, and tai chi. 

Boca Raton knows how to celebrate the nation's birthday, and they do it in style. Each fourth of July, the City comes together to enjoy family-friendly activities at a local park. The events include an enormous parade and a carnival, complete with food, games, and live music all day.

In November, the City hosts a tree-lighting ceremony at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Prior to the lighting of the tree, kids are encouraged to attend the disco dance party, where they can enjoy fun, kid-friendly activities. Locals and visitors alike are encouraged to come to the tree lighting ceremony and, afterward, the walk throughout Mizner Park to enjoy the more than 50,000 LED lights.

For over 50 years, the City has hosted a Holiday Street Parade down Federal Highway. Prior to the parade, the City hosts a Boca Mile Run, where families can run together with the Boca Raton Police Athletic League.
